LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – WLAF’s Charlie Hutson takes us for a little ride, sort of, through his camera lens with a photo play-by-play of two men and a pick-up truck.

La Follette Police left with two men, the driver of the truck, Alex Stephenson Williams and the passenger Gregory C. Roberts. One person on the scene reported that Williams said he “fell alseep.”

Around 3 pm Tuesday, this wild ride went off the rails in the 100 block of West Central Avenue and ended in the 100 block of East Central Avenue. It began on the sidewalk and wiped out one of those very, very heavy flower pots, missed hitting Community Trust Bank and a light pole.
The dark circle is where the flower pot once sat.

It was all hands on deck from La Follette Fire and Police to the Public Works Department this afternoon.

This is the gigantic flower pot the truck hit and knocked off the sidewalk into the street.
The truck took out a fire hydrant before coming to a stop in one of La Follette’s new flower beds.
