LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Postmark ArtSHINE is doing a pop-up Christmas store at the Postmark Center located at 119 S Tennessee Ave, LaFollette, from Nov. 13 to Dec. 19.  There is no cost to participate, nor do you have to man the store.  The ArtSHINE POP UP will be open on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8p.m.

Karen Cumorich, co-chair, said they are “looking for a variety of Arts and Craft vendors from soap makers to candle makers, from quilts to embroider tea towels, aprons, ornaments, original art, etc. anything that is handmade or handcrafted that will make a nice gift for someone or to decorate your home.”  It does not have to have a Christmas theme. If you have a painting, you are not willing to part with; have prints made or note cards, you are welcome. Vendors are needed for soap, candles, wreaths, knitted or crocheted scarves, dish cloths, potholders and wooden holiday décor.

Campbell County residents can do their shopping close to home in a safe environment.  Cumorich continued that the decision to do this with no fee to join was to showcase the many talented people who live in our area.  Also, because currently so many are just looking for something new and exciting to do.  Many have been creative in their down time, and we hope to offer them a place to sell their goods. A small percentage of the sale will go to support the cost of operating the store. Postmark is looking to see if this does well; they would like to see about continuing this as an ArtSHINE Co-Op open all year.

If you are interested or have questions please email.  More information and a contact form can be found on the website.  Cumorich concluded we will make every effort to minimize duplication of product categories. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/09/2020-6AM)
