
DAYTON, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Sarah Cain-Weinburger and her Bryan College Women’s Basketball team opened the 2020-2021 season on Tuesday night against Kentucky Christian University.
The Lady Lions are known for their ability to shoot the deep ball in bunches, and this season appears to be no exception. Bryan went 14-31 from 3pt range propelling them to an 89-58 victory over Kentucky Christian. Both teams scored the ball effectively in the first half, as the halftime score was 51-40. The Knights went 0-6 from deep in the second half, and the Lady Lions were able to extend their lead to 31 points.

- Senior Karli Combs was the high scorer for the Lady Lions with 20 points while going 6-9 for 3pt range.
