Deputy Chance Pierce, age 35, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020.  Chance was employed as a Deputy with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office having recently completed the Walters State Regional Law Enforcement Training Academy after previously serving as Corporal with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Dept.  He was an accomplished drummer and used his talent to worship with others at The Harbor in LaFollette.  Preceded in death by Mother, Angela Pierce, Grandparents, Rev. Carl Alvin Pierce and Louise Pierce, Grandfather, Carroll Thompson, and Uncle, Keith Pierce

Survivors:  Children, Rowhan Chance Pierce and Angela Harley Pierce; Parents, Al and Sherri Pierce; Sisters, Mandi Pierce and Jessica Pierce; Brother, Derringer Ross; Grandmother, Kathleen Thompson; Special Uncle and Aunt, Tim and Theresa Pierce, and Aunt, Gaye Thompson; His Brothers and Sisters with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, and several other relatives and friends.   

Due to capacity and social distancing concerns, a Private Memorial Service will be held for family, close friends, and fellow Law Enforcement Officers at The Harbor with Pastor James Coffey officiating.  Due to COVID-19, the family requests those in attendance please wear face coverings and adhere to social distancing suggestions.
