Last day for county property tax two-percent discount

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Today is the last day to pay Campbell County property tax and still receive the two-percent early pay discount. 

There are four ways to make your payment; by US Mail, through one of the two drop boxes located at the courthouse at Jacksboro, in person at the trustee’s office and online.  Trustee Monty Bullock said anyone paying online with a credit card will be charged an additional 2.75 percent 

The veteran trustee points out there is still time today to make property tax payments and receive the discount. It’s worth noting that Bullock said, “If you mail your property tax payment, we go by the postmark.”

The trustee’s office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am until 4:30 pm.  For the time being, due to the pandemic, the Campbell County Trustee’s Office is closed on Saturdays.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/17/2020-6AM)
