Mr. Ralph Swain, age 71 of the Hickory Creek Community passed away Friday, November 20, 2020.  Ralph was a former heavy equipment operator, truck driver, and a gun and classic car collector.  For a time Ralph was a Deputy Sheriff while Harry Cureton was in Office.  Preceded in death by Infant Sons, Billy Joe and Raymond Lewis Swain, Parents, William and Sarah Blue Swain, Brothers, Arthur, Bobby, and Harvey Swain, Sisters, Ruby Durham, Easter Williamson, and Dorothy Edleman.   

Survivors:  Wife, Mary Melton Swain; Son, Ralph Swain, Jr.; Daughters, Shelia White and husband, Jeff and Angela Hughes and husband, Scott; Five Grandchildren, Jake Mardis, Billy Joe Mardis and wife, Brianna, Natasha Mardis and fiance` Lige Matlock, Mallory Hughes, Adam Hughes, Mikayla White, and Michael White; Great-Grandchildren, Amelia Mardis, Alena Mardis, Ella Mardis, and Austin Matlock; Brother, Carl Swain; Sisters, Rosie Hunt and Arlene Shipley.  Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.   

Funeral Services Tuesday, November 24, 2020, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Delmus Bruce officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday before funeral services.  Family and friends will meet Wednesday, November 25, 2020, 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Peabody Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ralph’s honor to Walters Funeral Home.  Online condolences for Mr. Swain may be made at www.waltersfuneralhome.net.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Ralph Swain.
