LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Patchy dense fog will persist across the area through 10 AM this morning, especially in valley locations, low-lying areas, and near bodies of water. Dense fog will reduce visibilities to a quarter of a mile or less. There is a DENSE FOG ADVISORY for areas west of Campbell County especially across I-40.

Please exercise caution while driving and allow for extra space between other vehicles.

Otherwise, expect a sunny day with a high of 61 ahead of a Friday night low of 40.

Saturday features cool sunshine and a high of 58. Temps hit the 30s Saturday night dropping for a low of 34.

Sunday rounds out the holiday weekend with a partly sunny sky and a high of 59. There’s a chance of afternoon rain with cold rain likely Sunday night to go along with a low of 35.

Monday ends November very winter-like with a wet and windy morning featuring brisk conditions and a high of only 43-degrees. Snow develops Monday night with little, if any, snow accumulation expected as the temps chill to 24. Monday brings the coldest day and night of the season, so far.
