Douglas W. “Doug” Gibson Jr., age 69 of Jacksboro, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at the North Knoxville Medical Center. Doug was born September 3, 1951 in Clinchmore to the late Douglas Gibson Sr. and Pauline (Finley) Gibson. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his wife, sons, grandkids, and great grandkids. Doug also loved being at the garage with the boys. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.   

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson, Jamey Nelson.

Doug is survived by the love of his life of 33 years, Jean Gibson of Jacksboro; sons, Tony Wall and wife, Doris of Jacksboro and Gary Wall and wife, Lechell of LaFollette; brothers, Kenneth Gibson and wife, Lois and Greg Gibson and wife, Hazel all of Jacksboro; sister, Nancy Gibson of Jacksboro; grandchildren, Brandy Vinsant and husband, Dewayne of Jacksboro, Bridgette Anderson and husband, Greg of Clinton, David Wall and wife, Kara of Chicago, Danielle Gale and husband, Bruce of Nashville, and Jacob Wall of Chicago; great grandchildren, Landon, Knox, Wyatt, Bryce, Addysin, Greyson, Natalie, Caleb, and Jayden; special friend, Brandon Williams and wife, Amy of Jacksboro; several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends.  

At the request of the family, Doug will be cremated and no services are planned.
