JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – Ten driving on revoked charges, seven habitual motor vehicle offender charges and multiple DUIs are among the many charges 58-year- old Arvil Lee Stewart has committed since computerized jail records began locally in 1998.

Stewart’s latest encounter with law enforcement was on Wednesday at Jellico. At 7 pm, Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Joseph Weaver noticed a red Dodge Dakota pick-up truck driving without visible registration and stopped the truck on 5th Street. Weaver discovered that Stewart, of Pioneer, had a revoked drivers license, and that Stewart was wanted on two capias bench warrants out of general sessions court.

Weaver arrested Stewart; this was the 27th arrest for Stewart based on jail records. He remains housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning without bond and is due in criminal court on Dec. 16. Stewart is scheduled to appear in general sessions court on Feb. 9. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED -12/4/2020- 6AM)
