On Wednesday, Justin Crabtree agreed he was guilty of these crimes when his case was heard in the Eighth Judicial District Criminal Court via Zoom.

While he did plead guilty to assaulting Nathan Ling, Crabtree’s sentencing was postponed until Feb. 2021 to allow time for a presentencing report to be compiled.

Crabtree, a deputy with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, was accused of assaulting Ling in June 2019.
