The ever-changing basketball landscape during the pandemic has taken another turn or two.
Campbell Lady Cougar Head Coach Brad Honeycutt sat out Thursday night’s home game with Oak Ridge due to contact tracing. Director of Athletics and former Lady Cougar Head Coach Ryan Browning is filling in during Honeycutt’s 10-day quarantine.
Clinton, originally scheduled to play at Brown Gym on Friday, will instead visit Campbell on Saturday. However, as of Thursday, there’s a change. The girls home game with Clinton is postponed due to COVID-19 protocol within the Lady Dragons program. However, the JV boys (noon) and varsity boys (1:30pm) will go ahead as planned and play.
As of Friday, here’s what’s ahead for Saturday basketball. The Cougar JVs host Clinton Saturday at noon followed by the Cougars and Clinton Dragons boys varsity game at 1:30 pm. WLAF brings you the live radio and TV coverage beginning at 11:50 am over the WLAF – Doyle’s Tire Shop Sports Network.
Saturday evening on King Court, the La Follette Owls host the Jacksboro Eagles. The girls game tips off at 6 pm followed by the boys at 7 pm. WLAF will send you the live televised broadcast starting at 5:50 pm over the WLAF – Doyle’s Tire Shop Sports Network.
