JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – In a release to WLAF on Thursday afternoon, Campbell County Director of Schools Jennifer Fields said in-person learning begins today, Tue., Jan. 5.

The director noted:

Although we announced this when we made the switch to distance learning, I have seen people posting and asking on social about the return to in-person learning. I would appreciate it if you could share this with the public.

Campbell County Schools will return to in-person learning on Jan. 5. Students who have enrolled in distance learning will resume classes on Jan. 5. Students will be notified of any schedule/class changes that occurred with the change of the new semester.

The Campbell County School System will continue to monitor positive COVID-19 cases within the school system and plan accordingly. If an extended switch to distance learning is necessary, we will make appropriate changes at that time. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/31/2020-3PM)

  1. I think they need to be off longer. This virus is raging. My grandsons are in Michigan till the 11th because of quarantine. Whole families here are getting it. I know they need an education but we need our families to be healthy.
