Mrs. Betty Jean Monroe, age 86 of LaFollette, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021.  Her family was the true bright spot in her life and was always willing to help anyone.  Preceded in death by Husband, Orville Junior Monroe, Great-Granddaughter, Myranda Monroe, Parents, Sylvester and Minnie Johnson King, Nephew, Johnny Darren Adkins, Sisters and Brothers, Christine Morton, Jeanette King, Sylvester King, Jr., R. L. King, and Dewey King. 

Survivors:   Children, Shelley Ann Fontecchio and husband, James David, Robert Randle Monroe, Carrie E. Monroe, and Karla Miller and husband, Rector; Grandchildren, Jessica Potter, Kevin Potter, Jonathan Lee Monroe, Meagan Martin, Mitchell Martin, David Wormsley, Jr., Matthew Miller, Jazzi Monroe, Brighty Monroe; Great Grandchildren, Mackenzie Goins, Jayden Hemond, Trey Hill, September Hill, Taylor Monroe, Jonathan Lee Monroe, Jr. Ariadene Martin, Kamilla E. Martin, Maddox M. McGhee, and Mason Wormsley; Sisters, Geneva Jackson and Patsy Hill; Brother, George Robert King; Special Nieces, Belinda Lang and Michelle Goins.  Several other Nieces, Nephews, relatives and friends who she loved dearly.

  2. My family and I loved her so much. We will miss her dearly. She adored my children and my Uncle Tom (whom was her neighbor). All our hearts are heavy that she has left this world. But, we are happy to know that Ms. Betty is rejoicing with our Lord and Savior.
