Billy Byrge, a loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully at his home in Caryville, Tennessee on Saturday January 9, 2021. Billy was born on June 15, 1936 in Caryville, Tennessee to Daniel and Frankie Byrge. Billy spent approximately 50 years as a coal miner and a member of the Coal Creek Masonic Lodge #492 as well as a member of the United Mineworkers of America Local 1569 District 17. Billy was saved at Fordtown Baptist Church in LaFollette, where he was also a member. He enjoyed walking around his neighborhood, riding around, spending time by the pool with his family, working around the yard, riding in the mountains in his jeep or truck.

He loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and dog, Baby.

He is preceded in death by his mother Frankie Adkins Byrge, father Daniel Byrge, brothers Earl Byrge, Levi Byrge, Melton Byrge, Paul Byrge, Raymond Byrge, and Teddy Byrge, and sisters Ruthie Seiber, Ola Seiber, Dora Byrge

He is survived by wife of 45 years, Grace Byrge, his four children, Missy Ford and husband Jeff, Michelle Byrge and husband Daniel, Waylon Byrge, and April Bray and husband Josh, brother Daniel “Junior” Byrge and wife Stella, six grandchildren, Logan Byrge, Dylan Byrge, Landyn Ford, Ryland Ford, Lucas Ford, and Kadence Bray, and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

He will be dearly missed.
