Wlaf1450Brother Clyde Eugene Green, age 71 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021. He was a 1968 Graduate of LaFollette High School and was very active with the “Best of Times” LaFollette High School Reunion. Clyde was a Past Master and Secretary of Campbell County Masonic Lodge #778 F. & A.M., a 32nd Degree KCCH Scottish Rite Mason, KYCH York Rite Mason, member of Campbell County Scottish Rite Club, member of LaFollette First Presbyterian Church where he served as Elder and Church Treasurer for many years, and formerly employed with LaFollette Utilities with 40+ years of service. He was a longtime member of the LaFollette Public Library Board, assisted with various other local libraries, and always gave freely of his time to so many local causes. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by Parents, James and Louise Willoughby Green, Brothers, Gary, Harold, and James Bruce Green, and Sister, Debra Green.
Survivors: Sister, Linda Goins; Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, friends, and Masonic Brethren, too numerous to mention.
Masonic Rites will be held on Sunday, January 17, 3:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Goins-Sweat Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. on Sunday before services.
