Matthew Calvin Joseph Lowe, age 36, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021.

It is our hope that you will join us as we share memories and celebrate the lifetime of our beloved family member & your friend; this beautiful soul, who connected with many, a young man whom was many facets in person and character, creative, with an artist’s passion for entertainment in music & laughter, compassionate, loving & kind, generous without expectation, a peacemaker, understanding and forgiving, a stranger to none, spiritually wise beyond his years, having many interests, talents & potential – called home too soon

May he rest in peace, fly high with God’s Angels, and his Father Hilton Calvin Lowe and childhood best friend Billy Donahoe, to perform for the Master Creator, and walk with loved ones through heavens gardens with the multitudes, and rejoice in his heavenly homecoming celebration, knowing he is worthy and dearly loved.

Matthew is survived by Mother- Emma Jean [Mayhew] Lowe of Jacksboro, TN, Brother’s- Shaun Phillip Lowe of Jacksboro, TN and Michael Paul Lowe of Rocky Top, TN, 

Sister-Sarah Lauren Lowe of Jacksboro, TN; 

6 nephews (Brian, Xavier, Landon, Leiland, Dominick, and Braxton) & 

5 nieces (Nevaeh, Caidance,Trystan, Harper, and Adilynne), 

Step-dad to 1 son (Malachi Thacker), 

A fiancée (Melinda MacCarthy) with 2 young children (Soran & Willow), whom came to love him as dad, friends, friends of friends, acquaintances, and family, and all whom he made a connection with in any capacity, time and place … knowing him as you may had shared in his life’s journey

R.I.P. my beloved son. We shall all miss your awesome presence on earth; your smile, laughter, and the joy you gave to many so freely with unpretentious love.

Matthew’s visitation will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 1PM – 3PM at the Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City, TN.

A celebration of life will start at 3PM in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Leach officiating.
