JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Young Cougars and Lady Cougars are stepping up in varsity action for their respective basketball teams this season.

Will Lester (top photo) is one of those underclassmen, and he was voted as this week’s WLAF – Gray Insurance “Player of the Week.”

This week’s nominations were Cora Browning, Noah Burden, Riley Faulkner, Bailey Gillum, Will Lester and Izzy Proffitt.
