STINKING CREEK, TN (WLAF) – A late morning wreck sent several people to the hospital; two by way of medical helicopters.

The call of a crash at Mile Marker 146 on the north side of I-75 here in Campbell County came in at 11:43 am this morning.

Thursday morning northbound interstate traffic was backed up for miles as the result of a wreck.

The interstate’s north bound side was shutdown to allow two med choppers to land on the road.

An SUV rammed into the back of a flat bed truck prompting medical helicopters to be called to the scene to transport patients.
