LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Two Campbell County men were arrested just before 7 pm on Wednesday evening.

Campbell County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Travis Bostic conducted a routine traffic stop at the Gulf gas station in front of the Whiteway Plaza that resulted in two men going to jail.

This vehicle was pulled over in front of the Whiteway Plaza.

Arrested were the driver, Bryan McCarty, 31, of Jacksboro, and McCarty’s passenger, 28-year old Cory Taylor of La Follette. Based on jail records, McCarty was arrested for the 10th time while it was the 16th arrest for Taylor.

McCarty was charged with drivers to exercise due care, a second offense for driving on suspended/revoked license and possession of a schedule III drug and drug paraphernalia. Taylor’s charge was possession of drug paraphernalia. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/28/2021-6AM)
