LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – For men struggling with addiction, there is hope.

Springs of Life Recovery Center provides free recovery services for men struggling in addiction.  “Our mission at Springs of Life is recovering men, restoring families, and rebuilding communities,” said Executive Director Cliff Branam.

This group prayer is for the men in the center of the circle, Justin Hester and Randy Watson, at their graduation ceremony from Springs of Life Recovery Center.

The program offers safe housing, food, employment readiness programming, general health needs, dental assistance, and access to free Hepatitis C treatments. The program also offers a biblical foundation, recovery classes, target case management and employment opportunities for participants.  “We work hard to develop a family environment that offers truth, support, and accountability,” said Branam.

Why men?  According to the U.S. Census Bureau, children in father-absent homes are almost four times more likely to be poor.  Did you know that 90% of all homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes – 32 times the average.  Some of the greatest evils that we face as a society such as sex and labor trafficking target these very children.

Springs of Life Recovery Center offers participants the opportunity to learn how to live again, make friendships that last for life and feel the embrace of God’s love.  “We desire to know God and make Him known.  Our daily objectives are a paradoxical blend of interdependence upon God and autonomy.  We believe individual restoration leads to community revitalization,” concluded Branam

Anyone wanting to change their life, that is tired of just surviving, is encouraged to connect with Springs of Life admissions and find hope today.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/12/2020-6AM)
