JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Lady Cougars played a make good game with the Clinton Dragons on Monday night at Brown Gym and claimed a win. Click HERE to listen to CCHS Basketball.

The original game was scheduled for Jan. 9 and was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within the Clinton program.

Lady Cougar Senior Kayleigh Jordan led the way with 18 points as three other Lady Cougars recorded double-figure scoring nights. Izzy Proffitt racked up 14 points and eight rebounds while Alyssa Brown tallied 13 points followed by Cora Browning’s 10. Keely Nelson scored six and Megan Asher added two.

The game closed out the district portion of the schedule. Both the Lady Cougars and Cougars finished at .500 in the league.

The Lady Cougars are 9 & 11 in all contests and sport a 7 & 7 district record. The Cougars record is 10 & 8, and in the district, it is 7 & 7.
