A CUV and a pick-up truck collided head on around 8:45 am Thursday morning across from KROME Salon.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A grinding head on collision occurred Thursday morning on the four lane in La Follette across from KROME Salon. One person was pinned in the wreckage.

It was all hands on deck for this morning’s wreck on the four lane in La Follette.

Traffic came to a standstill in both directions with one lane on the westbound side eventually opening. Air bags deployed as debris was scattered all over the road way.

Traffic was down to one lane westbound with eastbound lanes closed. Eastbound traffic ended up sharing one lane of the westbound lanes to restart the traffic flow.

As temperatures sat in the 20s, First Responders from the La Follette Fire and the La Follette Police Departments responded with the Campbell County EMS and the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

First Responders from the LFD, LPD, Campbell County EMS and THP responded.
Investigators were in the process of reconstructing the crash site as WLAF News left the scene.
