James R. Moore, Jr., age 91, of LaFollette , born April 14, 1929 in Packard, Ky, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021. He was married to the late Olive Stratton Moore for 72 years. Along with his wife, he is preceded in death by his oldest son Danny J. Moore, parents; James R. Moore and Nicie Brown Moore, brothers; Charlie, Lacey, Walter, Oscar, and Maynard; sisters; Grace and Evelyn. Mr. Moore was a life long member of Caryville Baptist Church. He proudly served in the Army Air Corp 1945-1946. He retired from Dayton, OH as owner of Holt Radiator and Welding. He was a member of Mystic Masonic Lodge #405 (now St. Johns # 13) of Dayton, OH and Kerbela Shrine of Knoxville.

Mr. Moore is survived by son: James R. Moore III and wife Helen of LaFollette
Grandchildren: Marla Ann Moore of Knoxville, James Reese Moore IV and wife Ashley of LaFollette
Great-Grandchildren: Bailey, Carter, Daniel, Justin and Carrie.
He is also survived by special friend: Marshall McKamey
Devoted friends and caregivers: Charlene Longmire, Janice Adkins, Ashley Pruitt and Autumn White.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home
Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday at Woodlawn Cemetery for Graveside Service and Interment with Military Honors by Campbell County Honor Guard and Masonic Service by Campbell County Masonic Lodge.
