Carol Ann Proffitt, age 72, of Jacksboro went home to be with our dear Lord on Monday, February 22, 2021. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years James (Jimmy) Henderson Proffitt, parents Francis (Frank) Marion Shipp and Bessie Behymer Shipp, siblings: Frank Shipp, Jr. (Wilma), Bessie Boys (Phillip). Libby Boggs (Bill), Jeanne Wrigglesworth (Charles), Audrey Marsh (Bill), Janice Shipp, Shirley Sharp (Boone), Harry Shipp (Ardeena), Phillip Shipp (Cheryl), Sarah Theademan (Bob), Nancy Foster (Larry). A beloved wife, mother-in-law and Grandma, she loved her grandchildren more than life and was the best Grandma ever. She was nicknamed “Puma” by her grandchildren because she was so “fierce”. She loved deeply and will be forever in our hearts.
