Richard Michael Fadnek, age 75 of Powell, Tennessee, passed away on February 20, 2021 at the Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Richard was born December 14, 1945 in Patterson, New Jersey to the late Andrew and Helen Marie Szapky Fadnek. Richard was a United States Air Force veteran. He attended St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. Richard was raised in a devout Catholic home. Richard enjoyed traveling, especially cruising, playing guitar, music, and yard work.

Visitation: 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Friday, February 26, 2021 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Powell.

Funeral Mass: 12:00 Noon, Friday, February 26, 2021 with Father Chris Michelson as the celebrant.

Richard’s burial will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Nanuet, New York.

The family has requested all those who choose to attend to please adhere to social distancing guidelines as well as wear facial covering to help reduce the spread of Covid-19.
