LaFollette Planning Commission meets

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The LaFollette Regional Planning Commission had its monthly meeting Thursday afternoon at city hall.

First on the agenda was voting on the commission’s officers. Everyone maintained their positions including Joe Bolinger as chairman and Ed Wheeler vice chairman.  

Next, an item from August 2020 resurfaced. This involved a piece of property located at North 14^th and East Walden Streets. The right of way is to be abandoned to the Robert and Carroll families. There are no utilities running through that portion of property. The commission approved the abandonment of the property.

Last, there was a variance request from Allen Sharp located at 302 North 12^th Street. He requested a 5 foot variance in the back and a 24 foot variance on the front. The motion passed. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/26/2021-6AM)
