Powers appointed Chair of Banking/Consumer Affairs Subcommittee

NASHVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – State Representative Dennis Powers has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Banking and Consumer Affairs Subcommittee.  

His committee will be responsible for all Banking, Workers’ Comp and Human Resources bills which are presented in the TN House of Representatives.  The Committee met this past Wednesday at 5:00 PM, but future meetings will be on Wednesday at 9:00 AM.  He invites all of his constituents to attend or to watch the meetings being live streamed on the Legislature web site and on TV.
