LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County has lost one of its war heroes. J.C. Paul, who served in the U-S Army during World War II, passed away Friday.
Paul was featured in WLAF’s “There are Heroes Among Us” series, and he and his wife of 70-years, Margie, were featured earlier this year on their anniversary.

I grew in Church at Indiana Avenue Baptist with J.C., Margie and their children and thought the world of their family. It is so sad to see him go – he and Margie stayed so active playing golf and enjoying life late into their lives. Our prayers are with the family.
