JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Today is International Women’s day. To mark the day, the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a virtual lunch.

Dr. Emily Lynch practices at the Tennova Medical Center South Clinic at Woodson Mall-Food City Center.

With the focus being on women and having a healthy life, local physician Dr. Emily Lynch will be the guest speaker.

“The chamber wanted to recognize International Women’s Day with the focus on women’s health issues,” Missy Tackett, executive director at the chamber.

During the one hour presentation, Lynch will focus on providing women with information on how to lower stress and live a healthy life.

Taking a moment to recognize women, their lives and the day was important to the chamber. That is why, even though it is not in person, Tackett and her staff wanted to host the event.

Lynch is employed by Tennova Medical Center at its South Clinic. She attended the Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.
