JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Two Campbell County men went missing earlier this month. This morning, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in locating them. Here is the release from the CCSO:

On March 19, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a missing person, Ryan McKamey, by his mother. Ryan was last reported to be seen on March 16, 2021 by a family friend in the Shady Cove area of Caryville. The sheriff’s office was able to work with Ryan’s cell phone provider but no activity has been reported since March 18.

Ryan McKamey is a 26- year- old male, approximately 5’6”, 150 pounds, last seen wearing a maroon hoody with gray sleeves and gray sweat pants.

Multiple teams from the sheriff’s office consisting of detectives, patrol deputies, corrections officers, and other staff, along with searchers from the Lafollette Rescue Squad, Anderson County Rescue Squad, and several other volunteers, have conducted multiple searches in the Shady Cove area after video surveillance from a residence showed his presence around 1 pm on March 16. On March 22, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit assisted in providing an aerial search.

Although multiple grid searches have been conducted, the whereabouts of Ryan McKamey are unknown. The sheriff’s office would like to ask for anyone who may have seen or know the whereabouts of Mr. McKamey to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 423-562-7446. The family of Ryan McKamey has pledged a private reward of $1000 for credible tips that lead to the location of Ryan.

Scott Roberts was reported missing by his brother on March 18. Scott is described as a 49- year- old male, 5’7”, 125 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Previously, a photo that was not Mr. Roberts was posted. WLAF apologizes for the error.

In addition to McKamey, another individual has been reported missing. Scott Roberts was reported missing by his brother on March 18. He was last seen on March 3, by a witness who gave him a ride and dropped him off in the Red Ash area of Caryville.

Sheriff’s office personnel, Lafollette Rescue Squad, and Knox County Sheriff’s Office Aviation conducted searches today both on foot and in the air on March 23 and 24 but no viable information has been found.
