LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The drivers of two vehicles were flown out by medical helicopters after a Tuesday morning collision on Demory Road.

The call of the wreck near the White Bridge came in at 2:17 am.

In the preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, it is reported that a 2012 Honda Odyssey driven by 36-year old Teresa Bean of La Follette was heading toward La Follette when it veered into the eastbound lane colliding with a 1978 Jeep J8F. Forty-five year old Jerry Frazier of La Follette was behind the wheel of the Jeep.

The trooper notes that Bean’s vehicle came to an uncontrolled rest in the road. Frazier’s Jeep ended up off the right side of the road.

Bean was wearing a seatbelt while Frazier was not according to the report.

The report outlines that charges against Bean are pending the outcome of the investigation.

A First Responder indicated that the wreck happened in the bend of the road just up from the White Bridge. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/31/2021-8:30AM)
