JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- Camelot Care in Jacksboro needs a degreed professional to join its foster care recruitment team. The company is filling the role of a Resource Parent Support employee.

The Resource Parent Support Team works closely with the Foster Care Team to identify, license, and retain foster families for the region.

The requirements are:

-A Bachelor’s degree in a Human Service discipline from an accredited four-year college or university

-CPR and First Aid certified, or be willing to obtain certification before working with clients; and other duties as assigned

-Experience working with children/adolescents in a therapeutic, community-based treatment environment

-Attend weekly regional RPS team meetings

-Become certified to train all foster parent pre-service and post approval courses

-Provide Pre-Service and on-going foster parent training activities

-Maintain foster home compliance and paperwork (licensure requirements, home studies, background checks, monthly check-ins, quarterly compliance checks, re-assessments, etc.)

-Ability to work flexible hours consistent with program needs and work at multiple location

-Exemplary organizational, communication, mentoring, and teaming skills

-Sensitivity to other cultures and socioeconomic levels
