Alice J. Ivey, age 72, of Jacksboro

Alice J. Ivey, age 72, of Jacksboro passed away on Thursday April 1^st, 2021 while being surrounded with love by her family.       

She was a member of LaFollette Church of God. She is preceded in death by her ex-spouse and friend Arthur Ivey, parents Buddy and Kathryn Polson Paul and grandparents Bud and Martha Paul and Columbus and Alice Polson.

Survivors:

Son: Travis Pyle (Chip Barry)

Daughter: Tara-Beth Pyle (Joella Matheny)

Grandson: Garrett Matheny- Pyle, whom she loved more than a cat loves cream

Sister: Carolyn and husband Jim Massengill

Niece: Rhonda Massengill

Nephews: Vince Pridemore, Jason Pyle, Adam Massengill, Jared Pyle

Great-nephew:  Eli Massengill

Step-children: Jennifer, Paul, Kerry and Jeff Ivey

Special cousins: Deloris McCulloch, Louise Benge, Lois Hunt, Vickie Cable

Ex-spouse and friends:  Bill Pyle (Jeannie Pyle)

A host of extended family and friends and a church family that she absolutely adored.

Family will receive friends 4-6 PM Thursday April 8 at the LaFollette Church of God with the funeral service to follow at 6 PM at the church. Interment 2 PM Friday April 9 Woodlawn Cemetery with Pastor Michael Dent officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to the Campbell County Cancer Association or the American Cancer Society in Alice’s name
