JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – County commissioners held a very brief special called meeting online via Zoom on Thursday evening to approve vendors for Saturday’s Bridges to Recovery Benefit event.  Related story.

Vendors aren’t normally allowed at Lonas Young Park, which is why commissioners had to have an official vote to allow vendors for the one day event. The proposal had already passed in the recreation committee and just needed the vote of the commission.

The approval was unanimous.

The Bridges to Recovery Benefit will be held on April 3 at Lonas Young White Bridge Park where fun, food, fishing and a car show all come together for a great cause. 

This first event is being hosted by LA Cruizers, Billy Sanders, Robert Paul and Jerry Fox.  There will be food trucks and retail vendors at the event.

Some of the vendors at the event include Mystic Mountain Creations, Country Fried Charm Boutique, The Arts of Hummingbird Hill, Chalk Couture, John Boys BBQ Food Truck, Casanova Moises Food Truck and many more.

The fishing tournament begins at 7 am and runs till 2 pm, and the car show starts at 10 am and runs until 3 pm.  The fishing tournament is $25 per person, and it is $10 per car for the car show.

There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd biggest fish as well as door prizes. Some of the door prizes prizes include a golf package from Deerfield, a gift certificate from Krome Salon, a one day pontoon boat rental and a gift certificate from The Local. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/02/2021-6AM)
