JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Jacksboro town council has a new look following Saturday’s election. The town has a new mayor and two new aldermen. See the election totals HERE.

Shayne Green outpaced J.C. Miller 180 votes to 55 to become mayor. Of the four candidates vying for the two vacant aldermen posts, Brian Osborn and Jimmy Snodgrass emerged as the top two vote getters.

In the alderman’s race, Jennifer Banks received 44 votes while Roy Green had 99. Osborn came away with 102 votes, one more than Snodgrass’s total of 101. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/03/2021-7:45PM)
