LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Two arrests were made during a Monday morning narcotics search warrant execution at a home on the west end of La Follette according to LPD Captain Steve Wallen. The captain added “two elementary school age girls, the daughters of one of the suspects, were taken into state custody” during the raid by the La Follette Police Narcotics Unit. Previous story.

Parents of the two girls are in jail and the girls are in state custody. Arrested were Nicole Gibson, the target of the investigation, and Christopher Davis, both age 33 and of 1111 West Forrest Street.

The La Follette Police Narcotics Unit was out long before sun up on Monday morning.

Gibson and Davis are facing charges of possession of schedule II meth, possession of schedule VI marijuana, possession of schedule IV prescription narcotics for resale and tampering with evidence. Each has prior arrests in Campbell County.

Investigators with the LPD Narcotics Unit had made buys of illegal drugs at the home during an undercover investigation that began a month or more ago. Complaints from neighbors and heavy traffic at the home prompted the investigation. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/05/2021-10AM)
