JELLICO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Citizen complaints and an anonymous tip led to a narcotics search warrant at a Jellico address on March 29. Multiple controlled substances from schedule I through Schedule VI were located at the house during the search and two were arrested on scene.

According to a Campbell County Sheriff’s Office press release, the sheriff’s department, along with assistance from the Jellico Police Department, executed a narcotics search warrant at the home of Derrick Lee Cook and Ambi Robison at 168 East Davis Lane in Jellico. The search warrant was obtained following a confidential tip and numerous citizen complaints.

During the search, investigators located multiple narcotics including schedule I controlled substance, believed to be Heroin, Schedule II controlled substance, believed to be cocaine and Roxycodone, schedule III controlled substance, believed to be Suboxone, schedule VI controlled substance, believed to be marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of cash.

Jellico Police assisted the CCSO with the execution of the narcotics search warrant.

The 43-year old Cook was arrested on scene on multiple charges including possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of schedule III controlled substance, possession of schedule IV controlled substances, possession of schedule V controlled substance, and possession of schedule VI controlled substances, as well as possession of a firearm in commission of a felony. 

Robison, age 44, was arrested on scene on multiple charges including possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession of schedule II controlled substance, and possession of schedule III controlled substance. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/06/2021-12:30PM)
