LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Ron Murray turns 91- years- old on Saturday, April 10, and since he’s pretty much confined to his home, he’s wishing for birthday cards.

Murray is perhaps best known for coaching the La Follette High Owls Basketball Team over two different stints in the 1960s. He also served as trainer for Tennessee Vols Football under Coach Robert Neyland and later for Adolph Rupp’s Kentucky Wildcat Basketball Teams.
