Marvin R. Silcox, age 80, of Jacksboro, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his parents Emsley J. Silcox and Clara L Silcox.

Marvin was a founding member of Norris Lake Mopar Club and enjoyed showing his 1968 Dodge Charger and 1971 Dodge truck at car shows. He was a life member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. Marvin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his Wife: Margie L. Silcox, daughters Kathy A Murray, and Husband: David A Murray. Karen L Ellison and Rick Ellison. Brothers: Wayne Morris Silcox and Terry L Silcox. Grandson: Clifton A. Murray and Granddaughter: Rachel A. Ellison. Nephews: Erik Silcox and Wesley Silcox and a host of friends and relatives.

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Funeral service to follow at 7 PM.

Family and friends will meet 11 AM Wednesday Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 11:30 AM Interment.
