JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Remembering Bible verses can help you in times of need when negative thoughts crop up is one of the many positives resulting from lessons learned at the Campbell County Learning Center.  The CCCLC honors its donors during April and expresses its appreciation to each of them.

“My favorite part of the CLC class is when we do memory verses because we can use scripture to fight off negative thoughts from the enemy like Jesus did. My other favorite part of the CLC class is when we talk over the lesson as a group because it helps us better grasp the understanding of the lesson and helps bond the class together.”

“My favorite memory of the CLC class is when we get to talk together about our day, feelings, what we have planned, and talk about the lesson.”

“I have learned how much the Old Testament things that take place and are said are significant to the things that take place and are said in the New Testament.” -Aleeyah, 9th grade

Today, the Campbell County Christian Learning Center expresses its appreciation to donors Ken Goins Construction, Lynn Ray, Agent State Farm and Southern Sass Boutique.

Classes at the Christian Learning Center are taught on the Hillcrest Baptist Church campus which is next door to Campbell County High School.  Released-Time is a time during the school day when students are released from school to study the Bible at an off-campus location.
