LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Local Boy Scout Elijah Lamb has his Eagle Scout project this Saturday at the LaFollette flea market. The project is a pet provisions drive, which will benefit the Campbell County Animal Shelter. The drive is for towels, sheets, bleach and cleaning supplies to be used at the local shelter.

Elijah is a junior at Campbell County High School and is in his “fourth or fifth year of Scouts.”He said he originally started scouts because he loves camping. His favorite part of being in scouts is the “brotherhood of scout relationships.”

Lamb chose his Eagle Scout project because he “loves animals and wanted to bring awareness to what the local animal shelter does for the community and county.”

“They use a lot of towels and bleach and cleaning supplies out there and I wanted to spread awareness and help them out,” Lamb said. This pet provisions drive will help Elijah work towards his goal of Eagle Scout.

Come out to the LaFollette flea market location around 10 am on Saturday and help out with the pet provisions Eagle Scout project.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/15/2021-6AM)
