LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Not long after 9 pm last Tuesday, Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Will Collins was dispatched to east Campbell County just off Lynch Hollow Road. Collins was called to Jones Cemetery Road to investigate an unresponsive woman.

Collins came in contact with Christie Hill, and as soon as he did, he smelled “a strong odor of an intoxicant liquor” coming from Hill, the report said. After hearing Hill’s slurred speech and seeing how unsteady she was on her feet, he placed her under arrest.

The 47-year- old Hill of Sea Landers Lane, La Follette, was charged with PI (public intoxication). This was Hill’s ninth booking into the Campbell County Jail, based on jail records. She is due in court on May 18. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/21/2021-6AM)
