KNOXVILLE, TN (WLAF) – Tyson Park is more like Cougar Park, because, for many matches this season, it’s where the Campbell Cougars have played and won. Friday’s matches with Gibbs went the way of the Orange-n-Blue.

Kayleigh Miesel and Spencer Boshears earned shutout wins.

Third-year Coach Josh Parker calls it “another great day for CCHS.”

Campbell won 9 to nothing in the boys matches while the Lady Cougars claimed a 5-4 win. The Lady Cougars are 4 & 4 while the Cougars move to 8 & 0.

Today at Tazewell, CCHS visits Claiborne County. The regular season wraps up on Thursday at Maynardville with matches against Union County.

Next week at Tyson Park is the district tournament. Right now it appears, Friday, May 7, is when CCHS plays in the post season tourney. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/26/2021-6AM)
