KNOXVILLE, TN (WLAF) – The La Follette Owls Golf Team is headed to the regional golf tournament at Oak Ridge on Monday.

Wednesday at Three Ridges Golf Course, the Owls finished third overall in the district tournament qualifying for the region with Lady Owl Emma Lynn Woods qualifying for the region as an individual. Ethan Nelson shined for LMS as he tied for second overall medalist.

“They’ve had a nice season finishing with an 11 & 5 regular season record,” said Coach Josh Vann. He and his wife, Brittany, coach the Owls.

Veteran Golf Pro Bobby Heatherly helped the Owls with their bunker game on Tuesday ahead of the district tourney.
