The fire was believed to have begun in the attic.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The La Follette Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire Sunday evening.

The call of smoke coming from the eave of the home came in just after 6pm. As firefighters were approaching the home, it was confirmed that smoke was coming from the attic of the brick structure.

The heat was so intense in the attic, firefighters cut holes in the roof to allow some relief.

Firefighters soon contained the fire. No injuries were reported.
