CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – It was almost midnight when a deputy went looking for a wanted Caryville man. On the night of Monday, May 3, Campbell County Deputy Shayne Wilburn was searching for Russell Allen Jerrell.

The deputy went to a home at 182 Rocky Lane at Caryville in search of Jerrell who had an active warrant for vandalism out on him. Wilburn made contact with Jerrell at the home, placed him under arrest and transported him to the Campbell County Jail.

The 30-year- old Jerrell, who is unemployed, is due in court on June 3. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/14/2021-6AM)
