JACKSBORO, TN  (WLAF) – The need for foster parents is at an all time high and with current COVID-19 restrictions, having classes in person isn’t allowed. So instead, people who want to become Camelot foster parents can take the classes from the comfort of their homes.

New sessions are beginning and registration is easy. The first person to mention WLAF when they register for class will receive two Camelot T-shirts. These can be mailed to or a no contact drop off can be utilized.

Anyone who wants information on these classes will be sent an email invitation to attend the online information meeting.  All classes with the exception of CPR/First Aid will he held online.

In order to become a licensed foster home, individuals must be:
– At least 25 years of age
– Be home owners or renters
– Financially stable
– Willing to complete background checks
– Have reliable transportation
