Claude Wilson’s motorcade passed under the La Follette Fire Department’s giant U.S. Flag on Tuesday morning.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Claude “Pap” Wilson, who served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, received a military send off on Tuesday morning.

The hearse from the funeral home that bears his name, Martin-Wilson, displayed flags and an Air Force decal as it made its way from La Follette to Willoughby Cemetery at Pinecrest.

The U.S. Flag moved gently in the wind high above Towe String Road as Wilson’s motorcade passed under the La Follette Fire Department ladder unit.

At Willoughby Cemetery, near Cumberland View Baptist Church, military honors were presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
