LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – It was a busy morning for investigators with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office. The Drug Interdiction team executed a narcotics search warrant at a home where deputies have made previous visits- 315 Lakeshore Drive. The home is five houses up from Norris Lake in the College Hill area.

Court records verify the home belongs to Mark Housley. Officers say Housley was at home at the time of the raid though he was not arrested. Housley does have a lengthy criminal record based on jail records. Related story.

Curtis Green, a seasoned criminal with a three-page rap sheet, is helped to his feet by Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy John Ayers as Det. Sgt. Joe Hopson looks on.

Two people out of several inside the home were arrested today just before noon. Thirty-four year old Curtis Green of Abilene Circle, Caryville, was handcuffed and seated in the yard beside the driveway to the home. The other person arrested was 25-year- old Haley Humphrey of Springfield Drive in La Follette.

Humphrey faces charges of possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Green’s charges are aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, violation of probation and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.

Curtis Green is handcuffed for the 33rd time and is headed to the Campbell County Jail.

One source told WLAF that a computer and other items were confiscated by deputies.

According to jail records, Green is unemployed and today was his 33rd arrest.

Humphrey is also unemployed and is in jail for the sixth time based on information from the jail. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/19/2021-4PM)
