Today is USDA commodity distribution day at West End School

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – ETHRA distributes USDA commodities today in La Follette.

On Wed., June 9, at the La Follette Community Center (former West La Follette School at 300 West Beech St., 37766), commodities will be distributed during the hours of 8:30 am until 2:30 pm or until the food is gone.

The staff at ETHRA requests that no one arrive more than 30 minutes ahead of the start time.  Arriving too early creates congestion and confusion.

Everyone must bring a box, bag or crate to carry your USDA commodities food.  ETHRA does not provide containers.

People can only pick up for three households.

In accordance with federal law, both ETHRA and the USDA are prohibited from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
